National Council of Teachers of Mathematics

The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics will be in Indianapolis April 13th-16th. We are happy to have them here!

Below is a nice  scenario that only the math teachers of the world can appreciate.

“A transportation company has 17 vehicles in their fleet. On April 30th said transportation employed 32 chauffeurs to transport 45 1-passenger reservations.

How many different combinations of vehicles, chauffeurs and passengers could the transportation schedule?”
